2D Realistic & Interactive FLuids
Project made by myself for 'Innovation and Professional Development' Class during the first and second term of the Professional Master in Games Development (MProf) in Abertay University, Dundee. 2012-2013.
The project tries to improve the existing techniques to represent fluids in 2D games. The most common implementation is particles, another option is using Navier-Stokes equations of advection and convection. My Technique is based on the second mentioned algorithm, but improving the interaction between the fluid and the objects.
Project was made using XNA, with Farseer Physics library for simulating physics and with neoaikon's code for the gpu implementation of the algorithm.
The detailed studio can be found in Abertay University Database.
The Intelectual Property of this project belongs to Abertay University of Dundee, and so do the binaries and sources uploaded here; which can be used for educational and informative purposes only.
